Are you more likely to buy something if it came with a free gift or discounted price for the second item?

Sure, if there is a buy one or two get one free sale I'm more likely to buy the second products. Plus, getting free stuff with my Cereal and other products rocks if it is something cool like movie tickets.

Buy one get one free is always a good deal. But some people tend to jack up the prices so you're actually paying for both but people are too dumb to notice. I hate that. I don't like spending over 20 bucks for something.. actually, I'd prefer it under 15. But thats because I hate giving people my money. XD
So yeah, I would go for something if the second thing was discounted.

It would depend on the discount.. and the free gift..

However, I usually wait until I know I can't get it anywhere else cheaper.. be it online or not..
