Armless man steals TV

Police in Germany are hunting a thief with no arms who managed to walk out of a shop with a 24-inch TV.

Two accomplices used clamps to fix the TV to his body before helping him out of the store in Munich, Germany.

Staff did not realise what had happened until they noticed a TV was missing from its stand and looked back at CCTV recordings.

A police spokesman said: "Staff only knew about the theft after they saw one of the display TVs had been taken off its stand.

"It's hard to believe that the sight of an armless man walking along with a giant TV clamped to his body did not get anyone's attention."

lol, I bet it was a flat panel LCD or Plasma TV. It was kind of odd no one saw a guy with a TV clamp to his back unless he was covering it with a Cape or jacket.

it said giant tv so it must be a old model, and no matter what he put on over it someone should have noticed.

Wouldn't a buzzer or alarm system ring if you didn't pay for something. The store must have no security system or lazy staff.

TV's generally don't have any of that kind of thing if there over a certain size, usually because it will take at least 2 people to move them at no real speed

I agree, the plan was very well planned.

I wonder how muscular the armless man was since TV weigh a lot sometimes.
