Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, the latest installment of Rockstar's multi-million selling series that's coming exclusively to the Nintendo DS, has been given a release date.

An ambitious attempt to recreate the Liberty City of GTA IV on Nintendo's handheld, the game is being handled by Rockstar Leeds and adds a cartoon filter to the gunplay and open-world roaming normally associated with the series. It's out on March 17, 2009 in US, with Europe getting the game soon after on March 20.
