Do you think the Media is making the economy look worse then it already is?

Somewhat, I feel they talk to much about job losses, declining values of money, etc instead of oppurtunities like cheaper energy alternatives.

I agree that they talk about it too much, but it will only get worse and I hope it takes the jobs of the people who talk about it

this can swing 2 ways here, if they don't talk about they will be ragged on for not informing the public, over report and they get ragged on for making things seem more bleak than they are.

Either way i pretty much do not care. the problem i have is the companies profiting from falling prices energy companies are an exceptional example of this. those who have borrowed more than they could possibly afford have been hit the hardest so screw them with a pneumatic drill, the ones that are now being hit are the savers with plummeting interest rates.

The people who gambled their money away buying risky stocks, foreign currencies, and shiny metals & rocks are not doing too well either.

Hmmm, I wonder if there was a news channel that only had positive news and one with only negative news would people watch those types of channels.
