The wonders of human technology and research are such that we can now cure mice of every known illness and disease.

I have found these sites:
http://www.jdstiles.com/java/linkhelp.html - This site shows a nice effect. When you put your mouse on a menu item it shows a submenu for the item. This could really be effective if you want to have several menu items without making the menu too bulky and also if you wanted to just show more information about the menu item. This can add to the site design by making the user’s navigation easier. It also looks better than trying to fit all the links in a menu or two menus on the site. I can definitely see this being useful on my forum and website.
http://www.jdstiles.com/java/imagemenu.html - This site's effect shows a list of links when you put your mouse on the picture. This is a great way to use a picture or image to direct the user's attention to certain links or something else. I can see this coming in handy as well.
http://joemaller.com/javascript/simpler ... eroll.html - This one I chose cause it was quite amusing. When you put your mouse on the picture the person's eyes closes and it reopens once you move the mouse. I have seen several rollover effects using images, but this one just shows how imaginative you can get with it.
