I only one major difference is Win7 16 GB avaliable HD space which mean 7 needs an extra 1 GB of hard drive space compared to Vista : at least 15 GB of available space.

Win7 minimum requirements are basicly Vista's recommended requirements. But, what is 7 recommended requirements?

But, if you scroll down to the Vista requirement page there is a small section on minimum requirements. Tricky.

Home Basic / Home Premium / Business / Ultimate
800 MHz processor and 512 MB of system memory

20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
