Your opinion on Cash for gold websites?

On TV, companies advertise websites which promises huge payouts for sending in your gold, but I think it is a scam, and who ever uses the regular postal mail service to send in gold is kind of dumb.

it's a scam, but a legal scam. also with the economy in the way it is you only get change back or a few dollars back.

If I was selling gold, I probably go to a real jewellery store that is part of the Better Buisness Bureau, or highly recommended at buying gold for fair prices.

thats the right thing to do. once your gold goes into the mail you have no idea if it will reach it's destination.
