Broken External Hard Drive...

I got this external hard drive that won't turn on. The Read and Write Light just turns on and off, but the hard drive won't spin up.

I think it probably the power adapter has gone bad, or the drive controller.

If ye have another ext. hd just take it out and put it in that one to tets or rip out a spare on in ye box and violate it that way.

Though i think i rem ye volunteer somewhere that fixes puters take it along there and fix up a box to test it on, just a theory.

Thanks, I just fix up a box and stick the hard drive in one of the boxes at the computer recycler.
