No, I do not think Linux will slowly turn into a one Distro. OS since there are a lot of people who like their OS a certain way. But, I notice that Ubuntu seems to be the OS beginners turn to instead of Freebsb, Debian, Fedora, Mint or Arch Linux.

hell no, i can think of at least 5 that are very different although there are getting a few to many spin off builds
I never really understood Thursdays.
