Do you think arguing with someone about something will change their views on something?

I think 90-95% of the time arguing, ranting, or debating with someone about a certain topic would not change their views on something since people are too arrogant, and proud of themselves to change their ways.

For example, people who say Coke is better then Pepsi. But, there are people who say Pepsi is better then Coke. I think no matter how much you try to argue with someone who is a Pepsi lover to stop loving Pepsi and move on to better drinks like Coke the Pepsi lover will most likely still think Coke stinks and Pepsi rocks.

debating might depending on how hard headed the other person is. but doing anything else won't unless you break out the fists.

It is kind of disapointing that people have to resort to taking out a fist to resolve problems.
