Reviews have generally been very favorable. MSE has been praised for its good detection rates, infrequent false positives, scanning performance, and minimal resource utilization.

I'm not sure I want to try out an Anti-Virus made by MS yet since I did not really like Windows Defender. I guest this will give AVG, Avast, Avira, and other free AV some competition. I been pretty happy with Avast Anti-virus, so I probably would not change unless Windows Security Essentials have better support and detection.

looks decent, but I wouldn't be surprised if a hacker was already trying to make something to get pass SE.

Yes, I think some hackers are working on a way to get pass SE, but I think they will still focus mostly on more popular AVs like Norton, Mcafee, AVG, etc.

SE is a nice improvement compared to Windows Defender.

maybe I will uninstall WD and put in SE, if possible.

I think it is possible to uninstall WD, but I heard SE disables WD when you install SE.

disable or not, if a program has no use on my computer it will be taken off to make room for other stuff. But since I already got a antivirus program I won't bother SE unless I really hear something good about it.

Same for me, I'm already happy with Avast anti-virus, so I wouldn't be using it as my main anti-virus.
