Expensive, Windows XP, Vista, and 7 have built-in backup software, but I just prefer copy and paste everytime I download or create an important file. The USB cable also seems like it is poorly placed. It should be on the side instead of the top. I rather have a non-builtin cable since if the cable breaks. I can just buy another one.

Hitachi Simpletech also comes with builtin backup software, and is a lot cheaper. $99 for a 1TB external USB 2.0 drive.
