Do you think website counters are important these days since there is pagerank, alexa rank, quantcast?

I think counters are still relevant for smaller sites, but not so much for bigger sites with lots of traffic.

Most people can usually get a page statistics from a page rank checker, quantcast, or even from Alexa.

I think it's important for all sites to have these to keep track of visitors and such.
