Will Image and video search be a major source of traffic for more and more websites?

I notice a lot of people find my "computer related" sites through google image searches. I guest because I post a lot of images for tutorials and I give my pictures descriptive ALT text, so people can find them easier.

Youtube, and other video sites are a good source of traffic if the video is entertaining, or a good source of info. People tend to search up the creators website or click on the link in the sidebar.
