SE just want to earn every cent from FF 1-6. I bet Pretty soon there probably be a version for the PC, MAC, Linux, Google and Windows 7 phone. With downloadable content, SE does not have to make the box art, box, and Disc or cartridges for the games. They can just hire a programmer to reprogram the button layout, and other stuff and publish it to Xbox Live, PSN, Wii's online store.

Square Enix should just move on and start remaking their 3D based games. I think the main reason for remaking FF 1-6 because the original NES and SNES cartridges and consoles are hard to find because most are lost, stolen, broken, and collector items.

But, people still can very easily find FF 7-X-2 at a friends house, and at a used games stores for cheap, so people will not pay full price for older games.

SE is just waiting for FF 7-X-2 to be super rare like the original Nes SNES games for FF 1-6 where it is extremely hard to find an undamage FF 7-X-2 version. I suspect SE is secretly in the plans of working on FF7, but is just waiting for the right time on releasing it.

I'm not sure of X, but I know FF 7 disc is very hard to find. A good quality FF 7 disc on ebay could be sold for a good price.

True, many people are not willing to let go of their FF7 disc, but FF7 is one of the best selling video games according to http://www.famouswhy.com/List/16_Most_S ... r/154.html

Most people only play their games once or twice, so I suspect many of the FF7 game disc are in good condition if they are stored in a dark, cool, clean and dry environment.

I don't need a website to tell me something obvious. The fact that so many have been sold is the reason there is talk about remake (the tech demo really boosted the talk) for FF 7. And so far, I've played my copy of FF 7 about 6-8 times now.

aren't most tvs wide screen? But if SE were to make this I want them to make it with the highest graphic quality the PS3 can give.

Most newer TVs are widescreen, but a lot of people still use non-widescreen Tube TVs which weigh a ton. I hope they also make FF7 for the Xbox 360.

But, if they say it is going to take 12 years to make FF7 then it probably be out for the PS4 and Xbox 720 or newer consoles in the future.
