Indeed, this is why I prefer using power from the wall since I remember owning some bad batteries which leaked out battery acid, and rusted.Skeithex wrote:well that is a risk with any battery.froggyboy604 wrote:I agree, but I think the batteries might stil have chemicals when they leak or explode in some cases from overheating.

Most Laptops these days have power adapters which I prefer using since I don't have to worry about the battery over heating or leaking. Plus, laptop batteries are expensive to replace.Skeithex wrote:hmmm, I'm not sure but isn't there some plug in lap tops?froggyboy604 wrote:Indeed, this is why I prefer using power from the wall since I remember owning some bad batteries which leaked out battery acid, and rusted.Skeithex wrote:

pretty much any battery for any major tech is expensive to replace.froggyboy604 wrote:Most Laptops these days have power adapters which I prefer using since I don't have to worry about the battery over heating or leaking. Yes, except for rechargeable AA batteries for the classic Gameboy and Gameboy Advance. This is why I prefer controllers like Wiimote and 360 controller, Digital Cameras, and other electronics which use regular AA batteries since there is more competition in the AA rechargeable battery market like Duracell, Energizer,Rayovac, Sanyo, Panasonic, so AA rechargeable batteries are cheaper since there is always a cheaper alternative unlike those proprietary batteries which comes with Cellphones, laptops, and PS3 controllers since once they break or leak. You have to spend so much money to buy a new battery.
