Why do you think Chinese pop music is less popular outside of China vs to Jpop and Kpop songs?

My guest is because there is not a lot of Chinese cartoons, and dramas which are well known outside of Chinese countries vs Korean dramas and Japanese Video games, Anime and Dramas.

Plus, the Chinese media does not spend a lot of time or money promoting their music outside of Asia vs the Japanese who promote Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki and the Koreans who promote BoA*, Wonder Girls, and more.

because china would have a heart attack if much of it's media goes outside of the country. besides, J/K-pop is used in animes which are aired around the world.
