Views on people who promote their website too early on search engines, but their website's is low quality

I don't really like it when people who own websites which are poor quality promoting their websites too early when their website has mostly low quality articles, videos, and other content since it makes me hit the back button on my web browser a lot to look for a better website, so these days I just use Wikipedia and other Wiki sites for information on stuff.

Indeed, it is useful for a forum or social network to advertise early since hopefully new members post more interesting article and replies.

But, for blogs, and regular websites, it might be a better idea to have at least a few quality articles before launching it since nobody can post on their website except for themselves, and other writers for the site.
