Would you switch to a new operating system if Windows 8 or future versions of Windows were bad, or cost too much?

Yes, I will switch to another operating system if Windows became anymore bloated or and un-friendly to use.

I'm currently using Ubuntu Linux more as my main operating system. I find it to crash and freeze less compared to Windows 7. Plus, Ubuntu Linux seems to slow down less then Windows 7.

most likely, I don't want to upgrade to something bad. I think there is still strong support for XP.
