Do you believe in Feng shui?

Post by froggyboy604 »

Historically, feng shui was widely used to orient buildings—often spiritually significant structures such as tombs, but also dwellings and other structures—in an auspicious manner. Depending on the particular style of feng shui being used, an auspicious site could be determined by reference to local features such as bodies of water, stars, or a compass. Feng shui was suppressed in China during the cultural revolution in the 1960s, but has since seen an increase in popularity, particularly in the United States.

I believe in Feng Shui a little bit, but not very devoted to it.

Theres really nothing wrong in believing to anything you think that matters in your life. I personally believe in the Feng shui thing. I followed what the experts of the Feng shui advices including the lucky colors and what are the good things to do and what are not.Feng shui is an ancient Chinese system of aesthetics. Most of the Chinese believed in this thing and normally the goal of feng shui is to situate the human built spots with their good location based on feng shui.

What color to paint the kitchen for good feng shui? I have recently started reading about Feng Shui and learned that our kitchen is in the worst part of the house (Northwest) and that a kitchen should never be red (ours is cranberry red). I really don't want to repaint our kitchen white but am open to other colors that are good Feng Shui for attracting good luck, prosperity, wealth, etc.

But, you never know if repainting a kitchen can give you good luck or not since I heard some people have Good luck after they practiced good Feng Shui practices. I'm not sure.

Here is a tutorial I found on Squidoo for Feng Shui Colors at http://www.squidoo.com/feng_shui_colors

Yes I do believe in it, its part of our culture but in my opinion I just don't have to fully rely on feng shui.
