Laptop screen loads black?

Recently when I've been starting my laptop, the screen will be black with the cursor moveable. It's like it's freezing right before it loads the desktop. If I put into sleep mode and turn it back on then it fully loads.

Anyone know whats up?

Maybe it is a video card driver problem, or a problem in Windows which Windows need to fix by releasing an update to Windows Update.

It could be a virus, spyware, and malware slowing down your computer.

You can also try doing a disk defrag, scan disk, and disk cleanup to see if it fixes your problems.

I found out the issue, apparently there was too much charge in the laptop from the battery. So all I had to do was remove the battery, hold down the power button for 60 seconds and then put it back in and it fixed the problem. It's a pretty common problem with laptops that gain age.
