People who say differnet things to different people on the same subject

What is your opinion with people who say different things to different people depending on the person.

An example: A boy who stole candy, but told his mom he did not steal candy, but told his friends he stole candy from his mom.

I think those types of people should just tell the truth.

I disagree with it if you are telling two people different opinions. I however, do not mind if people word things differently. Everybody has a different personality so if you word something differemtly to make a different person understand betther that is fine as lomg as you are protraying the same point.

Each person is different and must be told things different things. Obviously the kid wanted to brag about it to his friends who would have found it cool. If he told his money, he would be in trouble.
