You can also re-use some of the old parts like power supply, PC case, Disc drive, hard drive, cables, and video card from your old computer if the parts are still in good working order.

I may end up re-using my hard drive, disc drive, power supply, and cables to save some money when ever I build a new PC.

If big enough I would reuse the disk drive/hard drive.
