flash drives cuz their fast and use less power then hard drive players. plus, they dont have any moving parts, so technically they should last longer.
a Hard drive player battery life is too short, and their heavier and bigger. I think they dont last as long cuz of the moving parts.

HDD player, I have had one for about 3 years now and it still works fine, they are also better because they can also be used as a mass storage device (external HDD).

i prefer flash drives as there alot cheaper and if you drop them they don't go to pieces on ya
hard drive ones are to heavy and to short a battery life
I never really understood Thursdays.

yup, most flash drive mp3 players have a built in usb port, but some use a usb cable to connect to the comp.
