I own $200 netbooks with a 16-32 GB SSD. I feel SSD are not worth it, and the larger size storage SSD like 1TB cost too much. The SSD load programs faster, but the storage is less than a hard drive. I rather have more storage without paying a lot of money. I think smaller size SSD like 16GB can be cheaper to buy for 10 dollars which cost less than a laptop 2,5 inch hard drive which cost around $50.
SSDs maybe likely to get damaged by power surges, or static electricity like RAM where a power surge and static electric can break the RAM chips.
SSD can be worth it for web hosting servers where visitors complain that your website loads slower. A SSD on a web hosting server could make a website load faster.

SSDs does load the PC,and programs faster than my older hard drives on my desktop.Skeithex wrote:even with the little storage you have, do you think it loads your PC faster?
