Good PC speakers?
Anyone know a good kind of PC speakers that are reasonably priced for a desktop? I'm mostly looking for a basic two speaker type.

Re: Good PC speakers?
I'm using a Harman Kardon Hp 5187-2105 stereo 2 PC speaker system which I got from my monitor. They work well for playing sound from music and video which I downloaded from the internet. But, they are kind of outdated now.
I think Logitech, Altec Lansing, and Creative makes good PC speakers.

I've found some of logitech's speakers to be cheap the lower the price they are.

Most cheap PC speakers are usually lower quality, and mostly good for playing audio at lower to medium volumes, and program sounds from Windows, and Windows software. But, cheap speakers don't have good bass, treble, and the volume sounds flat, and bad at higher volumes.Skeithex wrote:I've found some of logitech's speakers to be cheap the lower the price they are.
I think most of the cheap speakers maybe made by the same factory, and with similar materials like paper speaker cones, magnets, and wires. But, they are installed in different looking cases, and designs with different brand names on the front of the speakers.
You can try using an audio adapter or converter cable like 3.5mm to RCA audio Y-cable, line-in, COAX, S/PDIF Optical audio, and other audio cables to connect your PC to a home stereo with better speakers, or a standalone TV soundbar.

A bit too much, my folks just need a simple speakers since the default ones that came ten years ago with our first PC finally died on the left speaker.

I think PC speakers from Creative Labs maybe good since they make decent MP3 players in the past.Skeithex wrote:A bit too much, my folks just need a simple speakers since the default ones that came ten years ago with our first PC finally died on the left speaker.

I use their roar series speaker which is good, but their best cost a bit too much for what I want to spend.froggyboy604 wrote:I think PC speakers from Creative Labs maybe good since they make decent MP3 players in the past.Skeithex wrote:A bit too much, my folks just need a simple speakers since the default ones that came ten years ago with our first PC finally died on the left speaker.
