Re: Good PC speakers?
I wish I could try one pair at work, but they cost $100 which I'm not sure if they are worth it or not.

$100 is somewhat expensive. But, speakers can last for many years, and are less likely to be outdated unlike laptops and monitors which can break after the warranty period, or become outdated in a few years.

True, never hurts to invest in a long term product. Had my last speakers for nearly 12 years.

Re: Good PC speakers?
I also have a PC speakers which are over 10 years old.
It is a good idea to spend more money, and buy speakers which look more durable, and sound better. More music and audio files like FLAC and online music from sites on Spotify, and YouTube now have higher quality audio with higher audio bitrate, so a pair of nice sounding speakers will make audio sound better.

even with flac, the older speakers did it pretty well.
