SSDs get hot?

I read a post on a tech blog that there would someday be faster hard drives which are as fast or faster than SSD in the future, and cost less money than a SSD.

There will still be many people who still need hard drives because their old computer is not compatible with SSDs, and it is cheaper to use hard drives than to replace their motherboard, CPU, and RAM to make their PC work with SSD.

even if one was to come out faster and cheaper than SSD, it would still be sold a lot more just so the company can make money.

There are other ways to make money without raising prices. I think a lot of computer makers earn money by bundling bloatware with their pre-built computers. Amazon used to put ads on their Amazon Kindle tablets, and the ads show deals for products on sale at Amazon.com.

I think some countries have laws which don't let companies rip buyers off by selling their stuff for extremely high prices, so there is sometimes a limit on how expensive you can sell something in some countries.

Some less popular storage drive makers sometimes sell their storage drives for less money because people are not willing to pay very high prices for their drives.

Bad enough that you don't fully get the storage space you buy for, it be worse if there was bloatware on the storage device as well.

I also don't like bloatware. But, if you buy a pre-built computer or some computer parts from a popular brand, it will sometimes come with bloatware installed on the computer, or on a separate CD disc which contain trial ware software.

I think trial software makers may pay money for the PC parts, and electronics brand to put their program on their CD disc which is usually contains the driver software.

that's why I just reinstall a blank W10 OS onto the machine when I get it, that way all the bloatware is gone and it is amazing how fast it is with an SSD.

I agree installing a blank Windows 10 OS will make most computers faster. I think installing a lightweight Linux OS can make a computer faster if the computer can barely run Windows 10 which has a lot of un-needed features which can make a PC slower.

depends on how well the hardware handles the OS, I know some old hardware may have issues with linux even with a SSD installed.
