I once got a remote controller wet, and the remote stop working over time.

I accidentally left my sandisk usb in my clothing and it got washed the other day, twice I think. Somehow it still works, for now.

I heard of SD memory cards still working after being soaked in water or ocean. But, I think after backing up the data, using the same SD card maybe risky because of rust or salt from the salt water rusting your SD card reader and device like phone and camera.

I have noticed my music files on it are all shifted downward somehow (even though I'm playing file one, file two is actually being played).

I wonder if the file has some file corruption problems, or putting it in the washer somehow changed some of the data because the electrical motor in the washer is leaking electrical energy when it is spinning. I heard electricity like power surges can cause problems with data corruption.
