Well MS would have to come out with a newer and hopefully cheaper model, as Kinect is hardly sold anymore.

I think eventually cheap built-in webcams in laptops would be good enough for motion tracking which is similar to the Kinect. I saw a video of a robot tablet with a webcam and movable head with cameras which maybe good enough for motion tracking.

that's pretty neat, I assume the next OS will be more built for AI thinking.

Hopefully, future Windows OS have better security to prevent most Ransomware infections. AI thinking could be useful for stopping users from opening ransomware infected files and websites.

most infections are from people just clicking random links. I doubt an AI can do much to fix that.froggyboy604 wrote:Hopefully, future Windows OS have better security to prevent most Ransomware infections. I remember reading a tech blog and news video that there are now fake tech support phone calls which phone random users to install software on their computer, so they may of been trick by a phone call to click on a link with their Windows PC.Skeithex wrote: most infections are from people just clicking random links. I agree AI may not be good enough to stop people from getting tricked by clicking on random links/

that's nothing new, fake apple callers have been doing that for years. My family just got one despite never owning apple.froggyboy604 wrote:I remember reading a tech blog and news video that there are now fake tech support phone calls which phone random users to install software on their computer, so they may of been trick by a phone call to click on a link with their Windows PC.Skeithex wrote: most infections are from people just clicking random links.
