back in my day I was grateful for any clothing I got for free. I'm kind of plain so that made it easy, but you just sometimes have to take what you get.

I also wear free clothing from relatives. I got a free suit, dress shirt, and tie which can be very expensive.

oh yeah they can be, I spent nearly $300 on mine and I was going cheap on a suit and tie.

I feel if the suit jacket is high quality and look good, it can be worth spending more money on since if you work at an office job or go to a lot of job interviews, having a better suit jacket can make some people judge you poorly because of a bad looking suit jacket.
