mail in rebates are a nightmare, seems like for most there is some issues that keeps them from getting that kick back.

I don't like mail-in-rebates as well because I don't know what they use my information for, and I may never get the rebate if the rebate got lost.

They do have to give you a rebate, but they do tend to get lost or misplaced in the mail often.

I think an i5 with a 128GB SSD would be good enough for most basic tasks except for opening many websites/tabs on a web browser, and having many big MS Office programs open.

I feel adding some slightly older AMD Radeon video card like the Radeon RX 560 to an i5 PC may make it possible to play many older games at medium to high video quality settings.

would be a good use for the out of date cards that most are unlikely to buy anymore.
