I feel Ransomware, Windows Virus and spyware may make some people consider alternative operating systems like Linux based OS like Ubuntu and Linux Mint which are free, so they are less likely to get their PC's files infected again by Ransomware, virus, spyware and Malware.

I feel there will be more poor people because of Covid19 lockdowns causing unemployment problems. Many people may become too poor to afford a basic $300 Windows 10 PC, but can afford a used/refurbished $75 to $100 PC which is fast enough to run Linux, UNIX, Chrome OS and Android for PC.

I feel a lot of virus makers may spend more time making more viruses for Apple Mac computers, iPhones/iPad, Google Android, and game consoles if more people use Linux because they dont feel safe using Windows because their Windows PC got infected with many virus programs.

I think it is more difficult to get a virus in Linux because users need to type in the admin or root password to install most programs, and change some Linux settings.

Linux users can also switch to another Linux based OS like Linux Mint if the Linux OS they are using can easily get infected with malware by clicking on a website link, opening a file, and opening an e-nail.

Be pretty easy to get around admin access with a trojan horse.

That is true, people sometimes install Trojan horses onto their computer by accident. I think sometimes official software stores and bigger software download sites contain software that contain Trojan horses.

There are a few Linux Antivirus programs like ClamAV which scan for Linux based virus and malware. These antivirus programs can help with detecting virus and malware program in Linux.

I think there maybe more virus programmers who maybe making Trojan horses to earn more money from Ransomware Trojans which make money from people paying ransoms. Many users' internet maximum download speed are faster, so virus programs can spread faster to other computers all over the world.
