I read on a tech blog that wireless power is invented where you can charge or power device without a power cord because it gets power from a wireless signal. I think there would be monitors which get its power from a wireless power adapter.

I read that it takes a bit more power to power up a wireless charging station.

I think wireless power does use a little more power, but it may not be very noticeable to a person's electric bill.

This is true a few cents can add up at the end of the year where you can probably buy candy with the electricity savings, or invest the money in Pokemon toys where there is a chance it is worth many more dollars in a few months to years,

making a more affordable replaceable monitor would be a good route.
