I heard the paid version of Malwarebytes is now a yearly paid subscription. But, the free version is nice to use to scan and remove malware.

Re: Recommended AV?
I feel the maker of Malwarebytes can discontinue Malwarebytes, and create a new name for their antimalware software where all subscriptions are yearly plans.
