I've found that they don't actually get malware as well sadly.

It is too bad that Malwarebytes alternatives don't work very well. Maybe using a third-party firewall software with more advance blocking features can be a good idea if a user can't afford the yearly subscription for Malwarebytes paid.

yearly costs can add up to, not many can afford them for so long.

I feel the yearly cost can add up for people who live in countries like Mexico where their money may be worth a lot less in a few months to years, so they can't afford to spend as much Mexican money on expensive software subscriptions.

lesser countries would struggle, but at the same time would have lesser PCs available.

I feel lesser Windows computers found in lesser countries may more likely use Chinese-made Antivirus like Qihoo Total Security 360 Antivirus which has low system requirements like 512 MB of RAM 1.6 GHz CPU, 1 GB storage and works with Windows XP to 10. Qihoo Antivirus is one of the few antivirus which still is compatible with XP and Vista.

Didn't even know there was a chinese AV, never seen it for sale in the states.
