Re: Recommended AV?
I think some antivirus have a program which can detect un-discovered viruses, but the programs may give false results.

Those still require someone to review them, so something isn't flagged wrong.

Re: Recommended AV?
I heard Antivirus sometimes delete Windows system files, and cause Windows to break, so sometimes antivirus testers failed to fix their antivirus before it broke someone's computer.

yeah, got to be careful when it finds anything, but I think that only implies to those who modified their systems.

Re: Recommended AV?
I think people who set their antivirus to ignore the Windows folder and other system files maybe less likely to have problems with their AV deleting system files.
At least, it is not too hard to clone an entire hard drive, so users can fix Windows if Windows System restore does not work.

At least, many Antivirus set the default settings to ignore Windows system files, so it is less common for AV to delete a Windows system files.
