I think we also need better and faster backup software, so companies can restore their data even if someone steal their computer or server unless the backups also get stolen or destroyed by a criminal.

I agree, we need better back ups that don't cost a lot and come with all AVs.

I think the built-in backup software in Windows could be good enough for most people.

But, it is best to copy important data to more than one storage drive after saving the file.

I've seen the windows auto back up kind of fall on its face, which is better to have something more dedicated to the task.

I feel copying and pasting files would be the simplest way to backup files for most users. Burning files to DVD-R and Blu-Ray-R can be easy as well for older people who used old disc burning software like Nero and Roxio.

A lot of machines don't back up well on discs anymore, better to do it on large tapes or usbs or not at all.

I think most people use USB drives to backup data these days.
