I wish you could take batteries out of cell phones, make it easier to swap it out than waiting for a power bank to charge it.

I read a tech post that Europeon cell phones will require replaceable batteries in Europe in 2027. I think North America may have a similar law to require cell phones to have replaceable batteries in 2027 or latter.

Will be nice to have those back and cut down on ewaste. Too much stuff gets tossed out.

I see the EU is forcing devices to have removable batteries, should be good for future devices.

I hope removable batteries and parts won't make electronics like laptops cost a lot more money.

I wouldn't mind it costing money, sometimes taking a battery out is good and easier to replace the device.
