I wonder if Radioshack sold antistatic bags before Radioshack decided to switch to mainly selling TVs, stereos, toys, and computers.
I think people can most likely make their own antistatic bag if you know which company makes the plastic for the bag.
There is also antistatic foam which people can use to put in a box to carry bigger computer parts like hard drives which can get damaged by drops to the floor.

Can't say for sure for radio shack, been too long. Also I've seen that foam, too messy.

Re: Purchasing parts
Does the foam fall apart or off like styrofoam which sometimes break off, and may stick to stuff?

I found it to break apart and get everywhere, like glitter.

Re: Purchasing parts
Do all anti-static foam brands break apart, or is it mostly the cheaply made foam from lower quality brands?

Can't say for sure, but I'm sure a lot of the cheap stuff do.

Re: Purchasing parts
I imagine most cheap anti-static packing material like a antistatic bag and foam more easily fall apart.
