That is true it is not very easy to show off that they have a very fast computer when many average computers can open most files and programs in a few seconds, and more people mainly watch Netflix and YouTube or play web browser games, and games which can run on average computers.

There are also Chromebooks, Android and Linux computers which run most programs and mobile apps, and files at a fast speed, so it is more difficult to show off a fast Windows PC when cheap non-Windows computer open programs as quickly as Windows.

Many rich people are cheap and are fine with their old computer, so they may avoid buying expensive computers because they rather wait for tech to go on sale, and save money. There are probably some rich people who prefer the retro feel of Linux Command line operating system, and the basic look of some older Windows and Linux OS.

Actually I wonder if most even have a PC? I think they stick to their phones and have others use their pcs for them.

There are probably many rich people who only use a cell phone, or only a landline telephone for making voice calls, and listening to answering machine messages, and they hire a worker, or ask a family member for doing PC-only tasks like editing a photo they took with a digital camera.

A lot of devices like tablets, Smart TVs, game consoles, TVs, Blu-ray plaayers and cable boxes have web browsers, webcams, and apps which could be good enough for many rich people who don't want, or are too cheap or frugal to buy a PC to go on YouTube, Netflix, play games and video chat which they can use on a Smart TV or game console.

They say landlines are going out of style, so I'm sure very few if any rich people have any these days.

Landlines are good to have in emergencies when cell phone service is broken, or if you do not want to always carry around and charge a cell phone which can be a hassle. Landlines are also more private because it is harder to hack a telephone signal on a telephone cable.

I think there are many rich people around the world who may still have landlines home phone because landline phone users are more comfortable using a landline phone with bigger number buttons, physical answering machine, louder speakerphone speakers, and a large caller ID screen on the phone.

Rich people like to collect things, so they may collect landline telephones, and subscribe to landline service to use them.

I agree land lines are still nice to have, as I still have one but never use it.
