There are anti-static gloves which can prevent static damage to RAM.

You be surprised at the amount of people who just bare handle computer parts.

I'm surprise that people spend so much money on computer parts and their computer, but don't try to prevent static from breaking their PC parts.

Most really don't think of static or aware of it, it's that lack of knowledge that most stores don't bother.

I guess people sometimes forget about how damaging static could be, so they forget to wear anti-static tools when working on their PC.

It's a lot easier in the winter time, too, when the air is dry and static is more easy to conduct. Almost took out my work computer the other day.

I heard a humidifier can help prevent dry air which can help with static build up.
