Re: Purchasing parts
They don't get dusty, they get mildew which is worse and why you can't have humidity in technology parts.

Re: Purchasing parts
I think turning up the heat helps with removing humidity from the air. I saw a news video that turing up the heat in a car helps the car computer from getting wet which can cause car electronic problems with the car computer.

Re: Purchasing parts
Actually it doesn't, only AC does, heat might help a little but not enough.

Re: Purchasing parts
I think AC could make the air very dry which may cause static electricity which can be bad as well.

I've never had dry AC air, I think it has just enough moister in it.

Re: Purchasing parts
I wonder some places also add moisture to the air with a humidifier to prevent the air from getting too dry which can damage static electricity from damaging electronic components like motherboards, and some storage drives like USB flash drives if the static shock is too powerful.

Re: Purchasing parts
It does take the right balance or expensive equipment will go bad quickly.
