Re: Purchasing parts
I've seen heavy duty military grade cases for them, which can help a lot.

Re: Purchasing parts
I think there are also Android , Chromebook, and Windows tablets which may come with heavy duty cases preinstalled which may help with water damage and drops.

Re: Purchasing parts
I think so as well, but they have to be bought online, most stores don't carry them in person.

Re: Purchasing parts
I saw on the news that more robbers are stealing from stores. Stores may not want to sell more durable and water resistent laptops and tablets at a store if they are more likely to get stolen because they are worth more money, and they are more rare.

Re: Purchasing parts
Lots of stores are remaining understaff, making pc part stealing easy.

Re: Purchasing parts
I saw on the news that robbers carry weapons and sometimes many robbers steal from a store at once, so I feel many workers will not stop robbers from stealing computer parts and computers.

Re: Purchasing parts
It's why employees are always told to not engage robbers and give them what they want.
