Removing glue sometimes require a heatgun to loosen the glue. Finding replacement glue to glue parts back on on maybe difficult as well.

Trust me, that stuff really don't come off without damaging something. Not worth the hassle.

I agree it is usually not worth the hassle unless it is a rare or very expensive device which is worth a lot on the used market.

Or if there is a part or data you need on the device, though if you have the software a person could build their own switch.

I feel people will make emulators to play Switch games on a PC, and probably experience better graphics.

People tried and now getting shut down, why people buy parts to make standalone systems instead.

I think buying parts to build a standalone gaming system usually offer the best value for gaming.
