I've had a few crawl out from under my laptop during the winter days.

I feel insects may more likely enter laptops because the high temperatures from some laptops may cause some laptops to give off a smell if the laptop keyboard has food in between the keys which may cause the food to give off a smell if it is heated from the heat from a hot laptop keyboard,

Never seen that, worst I've seen is spills and smoke damage to keyboards.

Hopefully, most laptops are not easy to catch on fire from cigarettes and candle flames.

I don't think there is much risk, as most clog up from smoke and just stop working.

I imagine using a laptop in a Kitchen may cause a laptop to clog up with cooked cooking oil from a frying pan if the stove does not have an exhaust fan.

I have seen cooking damage to a laptop, anything can happen lol.
