I hope they don't, AI doesn't need to be too smart it does things against us.

I read AI uses a lot of elecricity which can be very bad if the electricity comes from burning coal. I think more advance AI could cause power outages if they use too much electricity.

True, just when we finally were getting over bit coin mining power usage, now AI is taking over. It's such a waste.

I imagine the electric grid in poorer places can't handle the extra load from AI servers.

They can barely handle AC units, much less gaming units at crazy power.

I feel some more powerful desktop computers with a more advance AI operating system and software may use too much electricity, and cause problems with home electricity going down.

True, most would require a special power outlet or fuses would be blown.
