I feel taller feet could also make it awkward to hold a laptop where the feet may poke other people when it is being held vertically.
Taller feet may make a laptop safer from getting wet from a table which is wet.

True, it would keep it safe from being spilled upon, but longer things to it would just lead to more easy damage to the legs.

It is too bad that are not many laptops which let users easily change the height of the feet pads on the bottom.

Most actually hide screws to take the laptop apart, making it hard to get apart and put back together.

No they do not, some are way too much of a pain to open to do anything to. Unlike the old days where you could pop things out.

I heard desktop tower computers are making a comeback, and laptops are not selling as well. I think some people are buying more desktop tower PC because it is easier to upgrade the RAM, SSD, hard drive, etc.
