I haven't before because I always believed that I was 100% Black, but my mother and grandfather tell me that is not true due to Irish ancestry on both sides of my family.. My grandfather told me that his dad was Irish.. and my mother said that she wants me and my brother to start embracing all of our heritage and not just one.. so she started cooking on St. Patricks day..
Eh.. my thing? Why break tradition.. so I don't wear green, and I don't really celebrate St. Patrick's day either.. but not because I am denying my heritage.. but because I can't be bothered to remember another holiday.. and if I have to do it for Irish, then I have to do it for EVERYTHING that mixed to make me.. and I can barely remember birthdays as it is already..
