Re: Learning IT
Would be nice to have parts built in the USA for better supply management, and give people more of a reason to join IT.

Re: Learning IT
I imagine CPU and computer parts factory jobs in the US may increase the quality of computer parts because the US government can more easily investigate the computer parts factory in the US if they notice that the computers and computer parts they are buying have a lot of failures.

True, but all those rules and regulations might keep companies from coming to the USA as well.

Re: Learning IT
I feel the more dedicated PC parts may come to the US, and they wont have to compete locally as much with low quality computer parts makers which would need to pay high tariffs if they ship the parts from other countries.

With the upcoming different president, tariffs are going to sky rocket across the board.

Re: Learning IT
I imagine the cost of computer parts will rise because of tariffs unless the executives, and higher ups are willing to cut their wages, so they can sell parts for lower prices.

Re: Learning IT
It's possible, its better people can learn IT to do more stuff online and not need physical parts.
